The 81 year old master Jean Marie Straub once again created a surprise in his latest movie. Komminsten consists of six parts, five of which are taken from his early works. Strauss did not aim for self-respect, but rather to create conflicts between different blocks (text, time, and language), highlighting the intangible elements of emotions and politics. This is a movie about human adventure, from the last century to the next century. In this project, Jean Marie Straub and Dani è le Huillet's films have found the most primitive and up-to-date forms of everything they have been based on over the past fifty years.
