剧情：Henry Fallon, a man in a wheelchair, suffered from nervous system disease, and apparently committed suicide. Morse was engaged to the wife of the deceased, Susan Fallon, and was in a mixed mood when handling the case. The body was found by his son-in-law Peter Rhodes, a local antique dealer, and the victim's wife was in London. When Faren's doctor told Morse that Henry had no physical ability to point a gun at his head, the police realized that there might be a murder in their hands. When the police were told that the commercial arrangement between Fallon and Rhodes had broken down, they still had a suspect.
