This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Laurence Osborne. The novel depicts the tragedy of a British couple and local people meeting at a weekend party in a luxury villa in the Moroccan desert. Rich Londoners David and Joe Henninger (Ralph Feins and Jessica Chastan), speeding through the Moroccan desert to attend an old friend's luxurious weekend party, had a tragedy with a local teenage boy. The couple were late for the carnival party and tried to cover up the incident through the collusion of the local police. But when the boy's father came to seek justice, a tense cultural conflict was about to begin. In this conflict, David and Joe had to accept their fatalistic behavior and its shocking consequences.展开
