剧情:
The novel "Doll" is adapted from the novel "Doll" by Polesaw Prus, which is considered by many to be one of the best Polish novels of all time. Along with the novel "Pharaoh", Polesaw Prus became a potential candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. The influence of Emile Zola is obvious, and some people compare this novel to Gustav Flaubert's "Madame Bovary"; Both were contemporaries of Prussia. However, this movie may be more like Stendhal's' Red and Black '. The Doll "constitutes a panoramic view of life in Warsaw from 1878 to 1879, and is also a subtle story of three generations of Polish idealists, with their complex psychology, participation in 19th century history, social drama, moral issues, and tragic experiences. At the same time, this story depicts the disintegration of social relations and the increasing separation of society, where the aristocratic elites spread patterns of vanity and laziness. In the harsh atmosphere of a backward country, anti Semitic ideas were born, valuable people encountered obstacles on the way, and rogues also succeeded. This poetic love story tells a series of trials and tribulations experienced by Stanislaw Wokulski, an upstart businessman, because of his obsession with the noble beauty Izabela Lecka, played by the famous Polish actress Beata Tyszkiewicz. Plot: As a descendant of a poor Polish aristocratic family, young Wokulsky is forced to work as a waiter at the Hopfer restaurant in Warsaw while dreaming of a scientific life. After participating in the failed uprising against Tsarist Russia in 1863, he was sentenced to exile in Siberia. After eventually returning to Warsaw, he became a salesperson at Mincel Clothing Store. After marrying the widow of the deceased shopkeeper (who eventually passed away), he earned money and used it to establish a cooperative relationship with a Russian businessman he met during his exile. These two businessmen went to Bulgaria during the Russo Turkish War of 1877-78, and Wokursky earned a large sum of money by providing supplies to the Russian army. The enterprising Wokulsky has now proven his inner romance, falling in love with Izabela, the daughter of the empty and bankrupt nobleman Tomash Keki. In order to win Izabela, Wokursky began to frequently visit theaters and aristocratic salons; In order to help her financially disadvantaged father, she established a company and made the nobles shareholders of his business. The laziness of these aristocrats who rely on pensions to make a living and are too lazy to take on new business risks has made Wokulsky feel frustrated. His earning ability is respected, but he lacks family and social status, yet he is condescended and subservient; Help; (secretly) to Izabela's poor but influential father, the girl realized his love. Finally, she agreed to accept him, but without true loyalty or love. (Wikipedia)
