This documentary marks the end of Detective Morse's epic story, and this iconic Oxford detective is renowned worldwide. From the initial "Detective Moss" (1987-2000), to the spinoff series "Lewis" from 2006 to 2015, and then to the "Endeavour" series ten years later, exploring the detective's background story in the 1960s UK, the story of Detective Moss finally came to an end. Through interviews with all major actors, we explored the enormous global appeal of this Oxford crime world. We went behind the scenes during the filming of the final series of Endeavour, as they connected the interconnected plots of over 60 years. Abigail So, the daughter and actress of the original lead actor John So in "Morse," revealed how she became a frequent guest on the "Endeavour" crew. Sean Evans, the lead actor of "Endeavour," explores his journey from turning the origins of detectives into reality to the recent challenge of directing the series. Kevin Wheatly, the original lead of "Morse," reflected on the enormous impact this popular detective drama had on his career.
