Oshima Village in Nagano Prefecture offers beautiful views of the southern Alps. 70 year old Simon Piggott, who moved in from the UK 30 years ago, lives with his family on the top of that deep mountain. Therefore, Oshima Village is a place where newcomers are warmly welcomed, pursuing a quiet and slow life, with people helping each other. However, since the "Linear Shinkansen Project"; Five years ago, in order to dig tunnels in the southern Alps, many changes began to occur in Dashi Village. This movie slowly observes these changes in Oshikamura's body.
