Guy is an experienced British fighter pilot responsible for commanding the UK's first manned space mission. At the height of the Cold War, he had been training for three years, and now he is alone in space carrying a malfunctioning spacecraft. He had limited contact with Britain, some unusual exchanges with the United States, and some unorthodox exchanges with Tyratam deep in Soviet Russia. Who will help him? Will he make the right choice?
