I guess lord won't allow me to meet my soul mate. But what if I met one,would my life be different ever since? Will I be as happy as Shane? I wish I had that luck.

A compelling story for advocating marriage equality, which I fully support. But I have heard of a similar story about a senior gay couple, one of which was banned from the deathbed of his partner, never allowed to see him in the last two months of his life and deprived of all their life's possessions after his death. If made into a documentary, that story could tell much much more about what it means to love somebody your whole life and what it means to have the right to marry each other. This current one is rather pale, only repeatedly showing how in love the couple were. It served the purpose of remembering a person and a great love, but lacked the force to initiate a social change. When the film started with friends remembering the two boys growing up as Barbra Streisand and "I am a barbie doll" singing stereotype, the film maker was remembering their "gayness" and failed to graspe

看这部片子哭了两次，一次是Shane的妈妈说我早就知道，我祝福你的时候，另一次是Shane不能出席葬礼的时候。好难过。
不懂为什么同样是爱，异性恋甚至可以不珍惜的东西，同性恋倾其一生可能都得不到。去年澳洲最高法院否决了ACT通过同性结婚的法案时，心里只有满满的失望。就像很久之前不知道谁告诉我的，黑人的自由不是白人可以决定的，那么同性恋的权利也不应该由异性恋来决定。
我谢谢我的爸爸说，如果我有婚礼，他一定回来参加。也谢谢我的妈妈，说只要我开心就好。虽然中间有些小戏码，可是没有关禁闭或者洗脑还放我出去旅游我已经很惊讶了。虽然我真的很抱歉让爸妈承受了这样的意外和压力。可是妈妈还加了一句话，反正你生活在国外。
